Lions and Tigers and Bears. . .

Well not exactly.  We visited the Brookfield Zoo the other day, and while it’s not my favorite thing to do, I do try to get over there at least once a year for my kiddos.  Whew! It was a hot one, and so many animals were either indoors or hanging out in the shade.  However, we did get to see most of the animals my kids wanted to see.  The dolphins stole the show though!  There was a mama and her calf that swam around together, as well as a few dolphins who really took to the kids and were incredibly interactive.  At one point, one of the dolphins came right up to the kids and smiled.  It was crazy to see all of his teeth up close!!!
